Terms of Booking
The conditions below form the basis of any contract between you (the Group Leader, Client) and Go Golf St Andrews (GGSA).
BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT
To secure a booking, we must receive a deposit of 30% of the total tour price (or full payment if booking within 84 days of the tour start date). This will secure tee times, hotels and transportation. Any delay in paying deposit may affect the original confirmed agreement.
To secure a Guaranteed Old Course tee time booking, we must receive a deposit of 40% of the total tour price (or full payment if booking within 84 days of the tour start date). This will secure tee times, hotels and transportation. Any delay in paying deposit may affect the original confirmed agreement.
Final payment of remaining balance must be paid 84 days prior to tour arrival.
Please note payment terms may vary for selected packages, please check at time of booking. The terms of bookings for 8 or more people may vary so please check at time of booking.
All golf courses tee times, accommodation, and transportation prices listed on GGSA website and itineraries are subject to availability at the time of quotation or booking. Should tee times, accommodation availability, or other trip elements require changes, such changes will be subject to the client’s approval.
When taking a guaranteed tee time for the Old Course package your price includes a game on the New or Jubilee course. If you decide to play the Castle course instead, a supplement will be added.
By making deposit you agree to GGSA’s Terms of Booking, i.e., these terms and conditions.
If final payment is not received on time, this may result in GGSA cancelling the booking and no refund will be made.
Golf course fees and prepayments, along with certain other deposits, are non-refundable at any time.
All payments will be made in GBP Sterling
Payments can be made by bank transfer or by credit card. Please note payment by credit card will incur a 2% supplemental charge.
CHANGES TO A BOOKING
Every possible effort will be made to accommodate changes you wish to make after deposit has been paid. We reserve the right to charge £20 per person if changes are made. GGSA reserves the right not to make changes to a booking after final payment has been made, however, we will do our best to satisfy your requirements. Any additional charges will be added to the final balance or will be paid by group leader before arrival.
Notification of cancellation of your trip by you (the client) must be made in writing to GGSA. Cancellation fees will be charged to you to cover non-refundable charges incurred by GGSA in making your booking, including administrative costs. Please note the cancellation policy may vary for selected packages, please check at time of booking.
Cancellations for Groups of Eight People or Less
Cancellation more than 84 days before arrival will result in loss of deposit.
Cancellation between 83 and 61 days before arrival will result in loss of 50% of tour price including deposit.
Cancellation between 60 and 29 days before arrival will result in loss of 80% of tour price including deposit.
Cancellation less than 28 days before arrival will result in 100% loss of tour price including deposit.
GGSA strongly recommend you to have travel insurance taken out at the point of booking to protect you against unforeseeable emergencies or events. We will not be responsible in the event you have to cancel a booking or of delays caused by the transportation company at the start of your travel, whatever the cause.
HOTEL CHECK-IN SERVICE
With our hotel check-in service please note all credit card details must be provided to GGSA prior to arrival. This service is not available at all hotels.
All customers must possess all the necessary documentation, i.e. valid passport, visas, handicap certificates, and any other travel documentation. GGSA will not be liable for forfeiture of services due to lack of such personal documentation.
DOCUMENTATION for Old Course play
It is the responsibility for all group members to hold a current handicap certificate for play on the Old Course. Men must show a handicap certificate of 24 or less and for women of 36 or less.
GGSA will not be liable for forfeiture of services if this information has not been made available. We recommend that you send us your documents ahead of time for our record to ensure all is in place before you travel.
Golfers names must be applied to slot times and notified not less than 14 days prior to play. On the day of play, golfer’s names must match those previously notified. Otherwise, golfers will be refused permission to play.
GGSA’s responsibility is to provide the service included in the itinerary provided. The client will sign off on the itinerary at the time of final payment.
GGSA will not be held responsible for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, changes, additional costs or inconvenience caused by any force majeure or due to any events beyond the control of GGSA.
GGSA and our service providers will not be held liable for causes out of our control. These include personal injury, sickness, death, accident, loss, damage of personal belongings on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour, defect in any vehicle or transportation for any misadventure, casualty or any other causes.
GGSA reserves the right to cancel a tour if circumstance requires. In the event of such, GGSA will make a full refund to the Group Leader of all payments received for the tour. This will be the full extent of GGSA liability and obligation to the client.
If you choose to self drive, drivers must be over 25 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
If the Helicopter Company decides conditions are unsuitable to fly, every effort will be made to re-schedule the flight that day to make the itinerary possible. Should the Helicopter Company determine conditions are suitable to fly and the client decides not to fly, no refund will be given.. Should helicopter transfers not be possible on the day of the scheduled booking, green fees will not be refundable or transferrable. The full value of the helicopter component minus the green fees will be refunded to client.
These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to discontinue our service without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
When you receive the refund, we are not liable for the difference of exchange rate. The amount will be based on GBP.
If any provision or part of the contract (including the Terms of Booking) is found to be invalid or unenforceable, only that particular provision or part so found, and not the entire contract, will be inoperative.
Go Golf St Andrews Ltd is registered and based in Scotland; therefore, the above contract is regulated under the law of Scotland. The purchase of one or more of our tours involves full agreement to the conditions of sale stated above.
